Initially you’re going to require to take out the computer case. Either you’ve a no tool required computer case, or most crappy case scenario you’re going to require a screw driver. We can’t out right say you how to take out the computer case as there are 1000s of different designs. But you’ll manage to do it.
Next we require to identify if you’ve an IDE or SATA which stands for Serial ATA. If the hard drive is connected to that big board in the computer case (i.e. called a motherboard), with a ribbon cable it is believably an IDE hard drive. You’re going to require a new one. Either get one from a traditional retailer or an online retailer.
